Chaos Super Sonic (AKA "False Super Sonic") is achieved when Shadow, in his desperation, channels his chaos powers through Sonic to achieve a transformation without the use of the chaos emeralds. The transformation is limited to how much energy is offered, so it doesn't last nearly as long as traditional Super Sonic.

In this transformation Sonic glows red, not unlike Shadow when he powers up for a Chaos Blast. Sonic retains his green eyes, but they too glow brilliantly. Sonic's powers are very similar to Super Sonic, except with Shadow's heightened strength, and his ability to create various chaos attacks.
